The next time you board a flight from Paris, you’re bound to be left pleasantly surprised, with the way you’re greeted while boarding! Instead of having real people do the job of a boarding agent, the airport chose to use Holographic Virtual Boarding Agents instead. The system uses a 2D hologram that greets boarders with the message “Bonjour! I invite you to go to your boarding gate. Paris Airports wishes you a bon voyage,” while your destination name flashes across. Also, Paris isn’t the only city turning to virtual boarding agents, with Manchester and London planning for the same at airports there!
