Feats Per Minute, the record-playing bicycle plays music as you pedal your way around town

Here’s a pretty amazing way to cycle your way around town, annoying everyone you pass! Bicycles have for long failed to carry along a music system, which is probably why a bunch of people prefer driving their gas-guzzlers around instead of riding along on bicycles, simply due to lack of commute-entertainment. A bunch of Dutch designers however have come up with a solution for the same, packing a record-player on a bicycle called Feats Per Minute. The wheels simply work as turntables and play music as you pedal. So, the faster you go, the squeakier gets the voice of the guy on the record!

Audi’s e-tron Spyder concept comes with hybrid insides

Audi sure know just how to chisel out cars good enough to make us drool all over our t-shirts. This latest offering by one of the most renowned luxury car makers around called the e-tron Spyder is clean too, sporting a plug-in diesel-hybrid-electric drivetrain. With clean cut looks and a well-chiseled out body, the e-tron also sports a 69-cell lithium ion battery pack that runs for a whole 9.1-kilowatt hours! Based on the R8, the e-tron Spyder is 4.7 inches shorter than the Audi TT and misses a hood, making it a perfect green roadster costing a few million dollars!

First Indian Scientist to Win Nobel Prize

Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman (C.V. Raman) was the first Indian scientist to win Nobel Prize. C.V. Raman was awarded the 1930 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on the scattering of light and for the discovery of the Raman effect, which is named after him. Raman effect relates to the inelastic scattering of a photon. When light is scattered from an atom or molecule, most photons are elastically scattered (Rayleigh scattering). The scattered photons have the same energy (frequency) and, therefore, wavelength, as the incident photons. However, a small fraction of scattered light (approximately 1 in 10 million photons) is scattered from excitations with optical frequencies different from, and usually lower than, the frequency of the incident photons. Raman effect is helpful in analyzing the composition of liquids, gases, and solids
